Jeremy Waiser is a Campaign Director with Avaaz, the global advocacy organization. He spent last year in Kazakhstan working for Tony Blair as a consultant on democratic reform. Previously he was the Foreign Policy Advisor to the Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada. Before that Jeremy was the advisor to the Prosecutor of the UN Special Court for Sierra Leone, a position he took after spending three years as a lawyer in New York City. His first job out of law school was as a UN Human Rights Officer in Cambodia. Jeremy thinks he’s “worn many hats.” His mother thinks he can’t hold down a job.
